Jill A. Zender

Jill A. Zender counsels clients regarding a wide array of employment law issues and provides a variety of services, including ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws, conducting training and workplace investigations, analyzing worker classifications, assisting with leave management and employee performance management, and handling terminations and severance negotiations. Jill also prepares and analyzes various types of employment documents, including employment agreements, job descriptions, employee policy manuals, performance evaluations, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, and severance agreements. In addition, she represents clients in connection with EEOC and state agency charges, as well as in federal and state employment litigation. 

Jill received her J.D. from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law in 1990, where she was a legal writing instructor and a member of the National Moot Court Team. She received her B.A. in English from the University of Utah in 1987 and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi. Jill is licensed to practice law in Colorado, Arizona and Utah, and has worked for national and international law firms, including Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath, Fennemore, and Kirton McConkie. Jill is a frequent lecturer on employment law issues and related business matters.
